My proposal story

My proposal was at home in London before being whisked off to say at Cliveden House in Berkshire for a weekend celebrating, staying in the Spencer suite!

Wedding style

Our wedding was a marquee in the Cotswolds on my in-laws land behind their house. I wanted the whole classic, romantic theme with my choice of flowers and more relaxed due to it being a church wedding and marquee wedding breakfast. We partied into the early hours with a live band helping us dance the night away!

Shopping experience

It was exciting and interesting at the same time (I was pregnant at the time with our first child!) but the guidance from the team at Emma Louise Bridal was invaluable and so helpful!

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

As above the ladies listened to my thoughts on dresses and offered their suggestions with the stock there. I was offered advise and they were so helpful helping me into each of the ones I tried on. I definitely felt in safe hands making my decision!

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

It was just a wonderful day from start to finish. I think after lockdown just having an opportunity to have all my friends and family in one place for a big celebration was perfect.
And obviously marrying my lovely husband and father to our gorgeous little girl meant the world.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We had a mini-moon in Sicily with our 6month old and will plan a trip to the Maldives when Sienna is a little bit older and she can stay with Nannny!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Enjoy every minute of it. Dont stress and sweat the small stuff, nobody else knows what youve planned or whats meant to happen step-by-step if anything goes wrong or doesnt go exactly to plan. They are all there for you and your partner so will enjoy themselves irrespective if they see you are too!
