Olivia - A timeless black and white themed day at Eaves Hall

My proposal story
Jack and I had been together about 5 years with a little boy. I never thought he was going to propose as he never surprises me with anything, but he took me away to Manchester for the weekend. I thought it was a belated birthday trip, but when we got there he had booked this amazing suite in Hotel Gotham it was very posh he was weird all day and not himself, then when we were up on the rooftop bar at the hotel, he asked a waiter to take our picture then dropped to one knee safe to say I nearly chocked on my cocktail, it was perfect!
Wedding style
It was a black and white theme. We wanted a timeless look with the men in tuxs, and my bridesmaids in black. I loved the black and white contrast and Jack wore a very stand out houndstooth tux!! The theme was very minimal with white flowers and lots of candles on a wintery fresh day!
Shopping experience
I absolutely loved it! I was nervous at first but it was amazing! It was the only shop I visited and I didnt need to visit anymore. All the girls there are amazing and the boutique is just beautiful! I worried that as I got my dress pre pandemic, I would have gone off it but as soon as I put it on all my worries went away and the love came flooding back!
How did you choose 'The One'?
My bridesmaid and best friend actually chose it! It was something completely different to what I thought I wanted, and when I saw it on the hanger at first I wasnt convinced. I tried a few on that I liked and my bridesmaid said they was very much my style but when I put this on OMG it was just amazing, we all cried and I knew it was the one!
Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal
Amazing!! Perfect!! Everyone cannot do enough for you, its the most beautiful boutique and every time I walked in it felt just so lovely!
What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?
All of it! Its so hard to pick seeing Jack my husband in floods of tears at the end of the aisle seeing my son in his little tux our best friend wrote us our own wedding song and performed it which was so special and definitely a highlight of our day!
If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?
We have been to New York!
Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?
Dont sweat the small stuff on the day as it doesnt really matter, no one really notices and they just want to enjoy the day!
