My proposal story

We got engaged after 4 years in Greece. We went to the top of a mountain at an abandoned beautiful castle and he proposed.

Wedding style

Monochrome black and white at Sparth House, 01/08/24. The bridesmaids wore black dresses and had white bouquets.

Shopping experience

Amazing, couldnt have been more helpful and gave me the dresses Id described wearing.

How did you choose 'The One'?

I had unknowingly screen shotted the dress I chose weeks before and didnt realise until Id already chosen my dress!

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

The girls were so helpful, couldnt do more for me and my bridesmaids. I lost my mum 5 years ago so it was a super emotional time to choose my dress without her but I was made to feel so at ease.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

The ceremony, I was so worried about it and all eyes being on me but it was perfect it felt like it was just us two. The whole day was just amazing to be surrounded by so much love for us. My family travelled over from America to be there, it was so lovely to have them with us.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We got married on the Thursday, booked our honeymoon on the Sunday and flew on Wednesday. We took our son with us and it was just perfect. We went to Turkey it was stunning.

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Make a spreadsheet!! I lived by my spreadsheet and it helped keep everything organised with payment dates etc. Book suppliers as soon as possible so you arent panicking later on. Dont ask too many people to be bridesmaids and dont do it so early, I was so excited to ask everyone. My biggest regret was doing that and it turned out not everyone had my best interests at heart.
