My proposal story

My husband proposed on holiday last year in Cornwall. Not very romantic but very heartfelt. Eating a pasty on a bench in a quiet park.! He got down on one knee, he said it just felt right. I wouldnt have wanted it any other way.

Wedding style

The wedding was easy going, happy and very floral. I love flowers! It was at the Villa Country Hotel, Wrea Green.

Shopping experience

Easy, I knew the designer I wanted and Emma Louise stocked it. The designer was Rosa Clara from Spain. Beautiful boho dresses and age appropriate for me.

How did you choose 'The One'?
I just knew it was mine. Id researched the designer for a long time.

Excellent, very attentive.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Feeding my 11 month old granddaughter on the morning of the wedding. I was at home giving her a bottle. Everyone was asleep and I remember thinking that this is going to be an unforgettable day with a perfect start.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We went to Paris 1 day later. Amazing!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Stay calm, shop around for suppliers the prices vary greatly.
