My proposal story

Tom. In the gardens of Villa Borghese, Rome, we went on a row boat. Tom got down on one knee on the boat, right in front of the Temple of Aesculapius, in the middle of the lake.

Wedding style

August wedding. Rustic themed, a barn, candles and wildflowers.

Shopping experience

My dress was the first one I tried on. Holly was so lovely and helpful and I tried on so many different styles.

How did you choose 'The One'?

Tried on lots and narrowed it down to three and then the one.

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

After being really nervous beforehand, Holly put me completely at ease. I had a wonderful experience.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

The first look with my bridesmaids after a lovely morning getting ready, walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing Tom at the end of the aisle. Saying our own vows was really special, we enjoyed the speeches and dancing with our family and friends.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We are looking to go to America next year!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Do things gradually. Use an app like Bridebook to keep track. Everything will fall into place.
