My proposal story

We went to a treehouse in Scotland for a trip away, and after wed unpacked Id sat down on the sofa looking at the view and Rob got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

Wedding style

We got married on 14th October 2023 at The Bolholt Hotel in Bury. It was quite a traditional wedding with some modern touches!

Shopping experience

It was the first time Id ever been dress shopping and it ended up that I picked my dress that day.

How did you choose 'The One'?

Id seen it online before coming to try it on and I loved it.

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

My favourite memory was our wedding ceremony and our first dance (as my husband asked our band to change the lyrics to make it personal to us it was an amazing surprise).

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

Were going on a cruise to Thailand and Vietnam on 1st March 2024.

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Enjoy every minute of your wedding day, it goes so quickly, and take some time together a couple of times during the day to take it all in.
