My proposal story

My husband lost his Dad during Covid in the June, and we were fortunate to be able to sit by his bedside in hospital. As we sat talking to him, my husband told his dad that I was the one for him and he was going to marry me.
After the sadness of losing his Dad, Andrew popped the question in September and of course I said yes!

Wedding style

Our wedding took place on NYE 2023, so of course we had to really go WOW. The groom and groomsmen wore black tuxedos and my bridesmaids were in black full length gowns with my flower girls in a stunning silver sparkle and silver satin.

Shopping experience

It was a perfect experience, I felt so special and at ease it was a truly wonderful experience for not just myself but my Mum, Daughter and now Mother in Law.

How did you choose 'The One'?

It was totally a feeling, I loved how it flattered my shape and how comfortable I also felt in it too!

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

Everyone has always been so helpful and my parents loved chatting about the back story of Emma Louise Bridal. We were all blown away at the beautiful premises and loved every time we visited.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Saying I do , I also loved the singing wait staff as they were brilliant and really got the party going!

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

Were off to Rome!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Make sure you look after yourself on the run up to your wedding. I skipped more than a meal which isnt good. Also, make sure to allow yourself plenty of extra time for the little things as they take more time than you think! x
