My proposal story

My now husband proposed to me at a lighthouse on a cliff with beautiful views of the island Mallorca close to where we met nearly 12 years ago!

Wedding style

My wedding theme was based on Barbie pink with bright pops of other colours (purples, oranges & yellows). We had a spring wedding and hired Eaves Hall a Georgian manor house in the countryside of Clitheroe.

Shopping experience

It was fabulous, I brought my Mom and Nans along as well as my best friend and maid of honour. The girls at Emma Louise made it a fun and luxurious experience and I will never forget it!

How did you choose 'The One'?

It didnt take long! With my background in hairstyling Im quite familiar with styling to complement face and body shapes so I knew what I wanted. The end result was slightly more sparkly but I knew the shape and style I wanted!

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

Fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was really accommodating and also honest (which is super important!). A truly luxurious experience.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

There are SO many to choose from of course getting ready is so much fun but I think the moment I first walked into the ceremony room with my Dad. I was so worried Id hate everyones eyes on me but I was just so happy to be there and excited to see everyone and my husband to be and his reaction to the dress etc.

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Dont leave things until the last minute and keep a diary of dates and times, create to-do lists so you dont forget, it makes everything so much easier!
