My proposal story

Michael proposed on my 30th birthday after we had been together for almost 6 years. It was during covid restrictions so we could only have 30 of our closest friends and family outside at a venue. I had no idea.

Wedding style

We had a modern/classic style wedding, on the 4th June 2022 jubilee weekend in Mayfair, London.

Shopping experience

I travelled home from London to head to the shop with my Mum and sister, I had a call to say my dog had ran away from the sitter in Essex whilst I had on the dresses! It was a little stressful.I had to get straight in the car and drive home from the shop.

How did you choose 'The One'?

It just felt right, it was the first dress I tried on and I considered how it suit the venue and how I felt in the dress.

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

They were wonderful from start to finish, probably one of the best services Ive ever received from a store. The girls really make the place and moment so special, nothing is too much!

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Sitting at dinner and looking around at the room watching everybody drink, laugh and just be happy. One big blended family!

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We went to the Maldives after only booking it the week before the wedding! It was magical!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Just try and enjoy it, what will be will be and dont stress over little things, it doesnt matter on the day. Focus on your guests experience and as long as they enjoy it thats all you care about on the day.
