Wedding style

Our Italian wedding was in a villa in the Tuscan hills of Umbria. It was an old converted farm house, which fitted with our rustic theme. From our wedding we mainly wanted it to be relaxed, informal and fun. All of our family and friends were in one place for a whole week of celebrations. Our colour themes were blush pink, ivory and sage green.

Shopping experience

I couldnt recommend ELB enough. Shopping for my wedding dress was such a lovely and memorable experience. As soon as you step foot in the boutique you feel special. The staff are on hand with their expert knowledge of their range of dresses, and they get to know you and exactly what you want.

How did you choose 'The One'?

I tried on a few dresses that Id mentioned I liked from looking at the website before my appointment, and from there Kate selected dresses with the elements I liked from the ones I tried on. After a few dresses we finally found the perfect dress, and I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the one!

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

From the boutique, to the staff the whole experience of finding my dream dress was perfect! I would recommend it to anyone who initially may be abit anxious about trying to find their perfect wedding dress, the girls at the boutique will soon make you feel relaxed and excited about this memorable experience!

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

From start to finish my wedding day was perfect, but some of my favourite memories walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing my husbands reaction when he turned around to see me, and also making an entrance into our nighttime reception in an Italian motorised ice-cream cart and then making an ice-cream cone for each other with the flavours we selected.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We have just got back from our honeymoon in Croatia. 10 days of relaxing and reminiscing about our wedding day! We also received our professional pictures while we were there, so we found a lovely bar and had a drink while we looked through the 100s of photographs!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Its your day! As obvious as that sounds, you have to remember what and who the day is about. When the planning inevitably gets stressful try to remember why youre doing it, and all the tiny little things that might have gone wrong wont matter in the grand scheme of things!
