My proposal story

My fella proposed during lockdown so it was extra special just me, him and my babies at home. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!! At the time my little girl was playing on my phone and answered a face time call to my mum that I didnt know and my mum saw the magical moment happen which was super special to me.

Wedding style

The style of my wedding was rustic theme done all by myself, I loved it
The date was 27/08/2022 my venue was The Old Grammar School in Middleton

Shopping experience

Amazing, the bridal shop was lovely and I felt so at home as soon as I was greeted!

How did you choose 'The One'?

I had a dress in mind for ages that I wanted, but as soon as I tried it on I hated it. Then my stylist Alice pulled me a dress I had saved on my phone, as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one!

My experience was amazing

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Seeing my husband and my boys little face light up as I walked down the aisle was perfect! Also having a special moment with my bridesmaids, we picked a song to dance to during the evening as it was super special to us it was Wilson Phillips, Hold on.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

We are going to Turkey in October, I cant wait! It will be our first time going there and it should be amazing, we also have my children coming with us and my parents for babysitters which is ever better haha!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Everything will be perfect, dont stress.
Take time for each other, even if its 10 minutes because the day goes super fast and you are busy trying to say hello to all your guests.
