My proposal story

We had gone to Scotland for the weekend and we decided we were going to do Ben Nevis. Back Story is my husband told me he wasnt going to propose unless I conquered a massive fear, one of mine is extreme heights. I nearly didnt make it to the top and told him to go without me as a started having a panic attack but he said we could do it together. When we got to the top and hugged as we reached the top he pulled out the ring and proposed. Safe to say it felt so much easier walking back down after saying yes.

Wedding style

We got married at Gibbon Bridge, the most beautiful venue. We had the theme disney for our tables, each table a different disney film with objects from each film and a meaningful love quote from each film on the table.

Shopping experience

Fairly easy. Emma Louise was the first shop i went to after being recommended by a work colleague who got her dress from there. I loved all the dresses and got to feel like a princess for the day.

How did you choose 'The One'?

Originally the first dress i fell in love with on the rack didnt fit me so the lady had to find one very similar which turned out to be the dress i picked. Think it was the third dress i tried on and i knew it was the one as i didnt want to take it off.

The best. Friendliest staff and made you feel so at ease trying on different dress.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Having all our friends and family there.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

Currently on our honeymoon in Egypt having the best time making new memories

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Dont sweat the small stuff. Make sure you leave enough time to plan everything so youre not in a mad rush at the end. Make sure you spend quality time together on the day. Everyone says it but its literally the longest but quickest day of your lives.
