My proposal story

We got together at just 14. Scott proposed on his 21st birthday, it was just the two of us in Southport. We have three beautiful children and then finally after being engaged for 13 years we got married. Im so glad we waited and had our children there to share and enjoy the day with us.

Wedding style

We had our wedding on the 22nd August 2024 at the beautiful Stanley House. We went with the theme olive green and black. It was absolutely stunning and it looked really timeless.

Shopping experience

It was so special and easier than I expected!

How did you choose 'The One'?

I had tried on four dresses and I was worried I wasnt going to find a dress as I felt quite stiff in the dresses I had tried on. But as soon as I put on my dress (even before I saw myself) I just knew it was my dress. It was extremely comfortable and I felt amazing.

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

Chloe was amazing from my very first appointment to my last when I finally collected my dress. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful and the dress choice is also incredible. I always recommend when people are looking to find their dream dress.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Getting ready with my two daughters and seeing my husband and son at the end of the isle.

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Just dont stress. Do everything for you and your husband, its your day.
