My proposal story

What I thought was an ordinary walk around Entwistle Reservoir on a midweek evening turned into a proposal! After over 9 years together, Harry decided to pop the question in a place that means a lot to him personally and to us both. He then whisked me away for a weekend stay at the Langdale Hotel in the Lake District.

Wedding style

Our wedding reception was held at the stunning Eaves Hall on the 12th August 2023. We went for a summery blush pink and sage green theme which complimented the interior of Eaves Hall.

Shopping experience

Exciting, nerve wrecking and overwhelming as there was so much choice!

How did you choose 'The One'?

Being an indecisive person made it hard to choose a dress as there were so many nice ones! I tried on so many different styles but deep down I knew that my heart was set on a fitted style. As soon as I tried the Dando London dress on I instantly fell in LOVE with it.

Tell us about your experience at Emma Louise Bridal

Everyone who worked at Emma Louise were friendly and very helpful.

What are your favourite memories from your wedding day?

Spending the whole day with our favourite people.

If you have a honeymoon planned - where are you going?

Just two days after our wedding we went on our honeymoon. We travelled to South Africa where we spent 5 nights at a private game reserve on safari. We then travelled to Mauritius for an further 7 nights. We had the most amazing time and miss it so much already!

Do you have any advise for other couples planning their wedding?

Enjoy every second as you wont get this day again!
