We want every bride to feel that finding your dream wedding dress is one of the most exciting and memorable moments when planning her wedding, so we have answered some of your most asked questions.
Q: When should I start looking for my wedding gown?
We recommend 12 months prior to your wedding date so that when you visit us you are able to try on all the latest styles in bridal fashion.
Q: Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes we do operate by appointment only. You will have exclusive use of one of our spacious bridal suites so it is important to call in advance and book your appointment with one of our experienced consultants.
Q: How long is my appointment?
Bridal appointments are 1.5 hours. During these appointments we will discuss your ideas and thoughts with you as well as offer professional advice with regards to styles and shapes.
Q: How many people can I bring with me?
The bridal suites can seat upto 3 guests during appointments so you can bring those nearest and dearest with you to find ‘The One’.
Q: Can I bring children to my appointment?
Of course, we understand finding childcare at the same time when you want your bridal party together can be very tricky (Emma knows only too well as a mum to twin toddlers)! However we have found that young children find it difficult to sit still for that length of time – especially whilst mum is making important dress decisions. So for a more relaxed experience it might be worthwhile to enlist the help of family members to babysit!
Q: What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
The price of our dresses range from £1000-£3500 with the majority upto £2000. We also have our fabulous ex sample gowns that are available to take away immediately at a fraction of their original price. These are all listed on our Sale page.
Q: Do I have to pay for my wedding dress in full?
When you order your wedding dress we require a 50% deposit with the balance due when it arrives in. If the wedding date is more than 12 months in advance we can offer a payment plan which we can discuss with you at the appointment.
However, if you fall in love with one of our ex-sample gowns these are required to be paid in full before you take them away.
Q: What size are you sample gowns?
All of our full collection samples are between UK 10-18 with our Curvy Collection samples between UK 16-28.
Q: Do you offer on-site alterations?
We have an on site seamstress, Estelle at Emma Louise Alterations, that you can see during the week or on a late night Thursday. Please note alterations are at an additional cost but this will all be discussed with you when you find your perfect gown.
Q: Is there parking nearby?
During the week we do have parking available directly behind the boutique in the gated car park in one of our designated spaces.
Please note the gate to the car park does close at 6pm during the week and at the weekend so for appointments on a late night Thursday and during the weekend please park directly in front of the boutique where there is ample parking on the road.
